1. The Service
StockTicker.net publishes general financial-market information and embeds third-party widgets that display quotes, charts, technical analysis, company profiles, news, and related data. The Service is provided for informational and educational purposes. The Service includes:
- Ticker pages with real-time and delayed market data sourced from third parties
- Interactive price charts and technical-analysis tools
- Company profile and key statistics widgets
- Market news and overview panels
- Editorial pages explaining common concepts in plain language
2. Not financial advice
Nothing on the Service is investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice. We do not recommend specific securities, derivatives, currencies, or strategies. Decisions about your money are your responsibility. See the Disclaimer for the full statement.
3. Data accuracy
We use reasonable efforts to display accurate data, but quotes can be delayed, mis-mapped, or temporarily unavailable, and third-party feeds can change without notice. We make no warranty as to accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for any purpose. Always verify a value through your broker or the relevant exchange before acting on it.
4. Acceptable use
By using the Service you agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or the infrastructure that supports it
- Use automated tools (scrapers, bots, headless browsers) to extract data at scale without prior written permission
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit market data or content from the Service in a way that conflicts with the licences under which we receive that data
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from the Service except to the extent permitted by mandatory law
- Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its availability for other users
5. Intellectual property
The site name, logo, layout, original written content, original CSS/JS, and the overall presentation of StockTicker.net are owned by StockTicker.net and protected by intellectual-property laws. Market data, news, and embedded widgets are owned by their respective providers (including TradingView) and are subject to those providers' own terms. Limited, personal, non-commercial use of the Service in a browser is permitted; everything else requires permission.
6. Third-party services
The Service incorporates content and tools from third parties — most prominently TradingView for market data and widgets, Google AdSense for advertising, and Google Analytics for usage measurement. Your use of those third-party components is also subject to their terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or behaviour of third-party services or websites.
7. Advertising
The Service is supported by advertising. Ads are selected automatically by ad networks and may be personalised based on cookies and similar technologies. Inclusion of an ad on the Service is not an endorsement of the advertiser, the product, or any claim made in the ad. See the Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy for details and opt-out options.
8. User content
You may send us emails. By sending us a message, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to read, store, and respond to it. We do not publicly publish messages without your consent.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. To the extent any warranty cannot be disclaimed under applicable law, the duration of that warranty is limited to the minimum permitted.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StockTicker.net and its affiliates, contributors, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunity, or trading gains, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability for any direct damages will not exceed one hundred US dollars (USD 100).
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StockTicker.net from any claim, demand, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, in whole or in part, at any time and without prior notice if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if continued access creates a security or legal risk. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — will survive.
13. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a revised "Last reviewed on" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
